Who Are We?
ZOE is a health science company on a mission to help everyone be healthier by understanding & optimizing their responses to food. We are a well-funded start-up based in London and Boston, and are backed by founders, investors and entrepreneurs who have built multi-billion dollar technology companies.
We are also the team behind the popular ZOE COVID Symptom Study - with millions of users, contributing to advance vital research on COVID-19 and helping to save lives.
We are looking for a senior product designer to join our team, working on the nutrition product of ZOE.
This is a very exciting time to join the team. We recently launched in the US and we’ll be soon coming to the UK too. You’ll be able to make big changes to a cutting edge product to help us make it available to everyone.
As a product designer you’ll be expected to utilise your full range of visual, interaction and service design skills to help make the ZOE product a success and drive adoption, growth and scale for ZOE.
You’ll report directly to the Head of Design.

    • You’ll lead product design in a small multidisciplinary team (with the head of Growth, engineers, data scientists, visual designers, and marketing associates), with support from other product designers.
    • You’ll be responsible for designing a great experience for our customers, across web and mobile, from the moment they first hear about ZOE all the way to purchase. This includes our customer acquisition flow (website and quiz) and e-commerce flow.
    • You’ll take full responsibility for your work from discovery to execution.
    • You’ll contribute to our research, helping better understand our customers, their pain points and needs. With support from the team, you’ll be doing a lot of A/B testing to measure and optimize your designs as well as qualitative interviews.
    • As a member of the design community at ZOE, you’ll contribute to our design strategy, culture and ops, helping us refine ZOE to a world class user experience and brand.
    • For design and prototyping we use Figma. For research we use Typeform, ZOOM and platforms like user-testing.com, but we are always looking for ways to connect with and learn from our customers. For data and analytics we use GA and Mixpanel.

    • Competitive salary. We are well funded and believe that talent is what makes businesses succeed. Our design salaries are benchmarked - we are paying in the top 15% against companies of similar size and stage.
